Futurex Announces Ingenico Injection Support for SKI9000

BULVERDE, Texas — July 6, 2011 – Futurex today announced the release of application version 2.3.5 for the SKI9000 Secure Key Injector, enabling direct key injection for Ingenico Point of Sale terminals.

With this update, the SKI9000 establishes full support for the top three manufacturers by volume: VeriFone, Hypercom, and Ingenico. The SKI9000 is compatible with over 20 terminal manufacturers, including Gemalto, IDTech, Motorola, and ViVOtech. By supporting a wide range of common injection protocols and manufacturers, customers can standardize their key injection infrastructure on the Futurex platform rather than having to purchase and train employees in the use of multiple key injection systems.

For more than six years, Futurex has continued to update and improve the SKI Series, enabling organizations to manage and deliver encryption keys via a secure, easy-to-use Graphical User Interface. The device includes an integrated smart card reader for injecting smart card-capable terminals, an integrated CompactFlash reader for the saving of secure backups behind the steel lock plate of the device, and dual, hot-swappable power supplies for disaster recovery.

The SKI9000, along with all other Futurex solutions, is compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards including FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and ANSI X9.24.
