What is the Excrypt™ UI?
The Excrypt UI is a universal interface to host transaction processing software used in the financial transaction security for Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and Point of Sale (POS) networks.

The Excrypt UI is compatible with all the major host application software products sold around the world and supports all common domestic and international commands for PIN Translation and Verification, Key Management and EMV. The Excrypt UI enables the Futurex Excrypt products such as Host Security Modules and Key Management Servers to interface with any host application software. The Excrypt UI allows plug and play replacement of major Host Security Modules.

The Excrypt UI is a software product that runs on the Excrypt" family of Futurex products. The Excrypt UI interfaces directly with any host transaction processing software application, whether it is vendor supplied or developed in-house. As such, the Excrypt UI is able to interpret the many different command syntaxes used by the host transaction processing software applications for performing essentially the same cryptographic function (see table below). The Excrypt UI efficiently translates these differing command sets for the Excrypt cryptographic engine, and after the command has been processed, it formats the reply back to the host transaction processing software using the incoming command syntax.

Origin of the Excrypt™ UI
The Excrypt UI was developed over several years of focusing on our customers needs and requirements. Every time we encountered a client and/or business partner that developed different command syntax for their host application software, we updated the Excrypt UI to receive and send commands using that syntax. Over time, and due to our increased exposure to different applications, the Excrypt UI has been designed and tested to handle virtually any command for a cryptographic operation without modification. Futurex has the experience and tools to quickly adapt our Excrypt UI, and we will at our own cost adapt the Excrypt UI to fit any cryptographic function syntax required. We continue to be an organization focused on our customer's needs and dedicated to exceeding expectations for those needs with a quality and affordable product.
