Excrypt™ RMC9000 - Rack Mount Chassis
The Excrypt™ RMC9000 is the flagship of the Excrypt line of Host Security Modules by offering rack-mounted chassis with the highest transaction rates in the industry. The Excrypt RMC9000 provides all the PIN security and key management functions that you expect from Excrypt plus many additional features not found in other host security modules.
The Excrypt RMC9000 combines many of the features of the Excrypt SSP7100 and the Excrypt EBS7000. The Excrypt RMC9000 is a full 4U rack mounted chassis with the equivalent of Excrypt SSP7100 processing power in each of six (6) possible PCI based encryption processor cards. The combined transaction processing speed is 6600 transactions per second. When used in the right environment, this high-end server can maximize return on investment and ease administration.
The Excrypt RMC9000 sets new standards for security, disaster recovery and audit control by offering real-time statistical displays of network transactions, customizable access controls and much more. The Excrypt RMC9000 is designed to expand as your institution grows by supporting six separate processor boards. Each board can be configured individually to accommodate separate applications or can be used in concert to provide a single high-speed, scalable solution.
In addition to a single-use application that precludes attacks by worms or viruses, the RMC9000 also has both a simplified upgrade process (software and firmware) and a simplified process for additional encryption card detection and configuration.
