For more than 29 years, Futurex has been a globally recognized leader in providing data encryption solutions for financial networks, banks, terminal manufacturers, and retail customers. More than 15,000 organizations worldwide have used Futurex product solutions to protect their highly sensitive financial transactions.

Futurex is seeking to fill the position of Solutions Architect to work in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with a high degree of autonomy and use initiative and independent judgment. The Solutions Architect - EMEA must have specific knowledge of Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology and key management schemes and have a background in customer service and a general knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of sales. The ideal candidate will have a moderate to high level of technical aptitude, with some knowledge of the payment industry standards and best practices.

The qualified candidate will undergo an extensive training program that will include experience in all aspects of Futurex. Training will take place at Futurex's Technology Campus in Bulverde, Texas and will prepare the Solutions Architect to represent all aspects of Futurex's world-class solutions suite.

The qualified candidate should be a self-starter who is driven to find ideal product solutions for Futurex's global customers. The candidate must be well-organized and able to communicate at both a highly technical and highly theoretical level about the products that Futurex can offer. The candidate should also possess the ability to be sensitive to customer concerns and understand the long-term importance of customer retention and satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop production data encryption solutions for new and existing customers in the EMEA region
• Answer highly technical questions regarding data security solutions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standard and practices affecting the payments industry
• Gain attention of prospective customers through targeted marketing strategies
• Respond to all requests for information from the EMEA region
• Provide continuing support and training to existing regional customers
• Communicate highly effectively with both technical and executive-level customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree or technical background equivalent, with the ability to quickly gain understanding of Futurex data security solutions
• 5+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or equivalent position
• Ability to present technical product solutions to customers via phone, e-mail, or in person
• Reside in the United Kingdom, with the ability to travel regularly
• Experience with payment Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and key management servers
