merchant service providers have used Futurex product solutions to protect their highly sensitive financial
transactions.

Futurex is seeking to fill the position of Xceptional Support intern to work in Bulverde, Texas. The ideal candidate will
solve moderately complex problems concerning transaction processing products and applications. This involves the
ability to quickly solve problems concerning mission critical systems. Some scripting will be necessary in order to
duplicate a problem that stems from a complex task. The candidate will also be involved in the process of creating
and updating product documentation.

The qualified candidate must be willing to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of
initiative and independent judgment. The candidate must have superior problem solving skills which allow for quick
and independently found solutions.

The qualified candidate should possess the ability to process information logically; to interact with customers using
superior communications skills; to test computer programs; to interpret technical information relating to computer
applications and other areas of data processing; and to respond to requests from several different areas of the
company in a flexible way.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test and troubleshoot new and existing software developed for the commercial market
• Write and maintain documentation released to the public
• Analyze and solve problems involving transaction processing products and applications
• Understand industry specific APIs and protocols used when interfacing with external systems
• Recreate customer specific problems
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed

REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to learn and interest in cryptography
• Flexibility to assist in several different departments of the company
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills

STRONGLY PREFER

• Linux experience
• Experience with TCP/IP networking
• Experience with multiple architectures and platforms
• Basic understanding of a major scripting language (ex. Python)
