Supporting National Cyber Security Awareness Month 2015
National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) is finally here, and that means we get to tout cyber security—something we love to do.
The Internet and the Internet of Things are the 21st century playgrounds for sophisticated criminal operations. Data breaches and the like are voluminous and expensive. We’ve all heard that before, especially with the amount of media attention it’s received of late, but we don’t often have this long opportunity to really think about it. We must do more than think, however. We must act because when we are most aware, we are most productive.
Ask yourself, what am I, personally, doing to maintain my organization’s cyber security as well as my own? The answer should be everything you can. The same reflection process applies to organizations as a whole. “How do we uphold the security of our own data and our customers’?” If you’re confident that you could do more, maybe a good place to start is to talk to an expert such as one of our experienced Solutions Architects. You can learn more about our products, the market, and best practices for cyber safety. Follow us on social media such as Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn to join the discussion through NCSAM. Whatever you do, remember that NCSAM isn’t the only time to think about your cyber safety (you should think about this all the time)—but it’s a good step toward year-long safety.
