Futurex and Trintas: Migrating Environments
Given prior successes with Futurex technology, Trintas, a leading provider of Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions and longstanding Futurex customer, recently chose to upgrade their cryptographic infrastructure by migrating from the SKI3000 Secure Key Injector to the newer and more advanced model, the SKI9000.
Trintas reached out to our Solutions Architect team after years of successfully using the SKI3000 for secure key injections. Trintas, like Futurex, is a forward-looking company. They continually seek to maximize customer serviceability, improve key injection efficiency, and ensure security in an environment that will grow with their customer base. For the Solutions Architect team at Futurex, working with an environment as such is exciting because the environment requires an uninterrupted, seamless, transition. We were able to provide them with an immediate solution and see immediate results.
By migrating to the SKI9000, Trintas broadened the scope of available services, increased efficiency, and assured their customers the security of their device key management process. With this device, Trintas is now able to simultaneously inject multiple POS devices and load different types of keys. This technology enabled them to take advantage of the most current POS technologies, including mobile terminals, and to maximize customer serviceability with support for over 18 major POS manufacturers. Perhaps one of the greatest advantages, something Trintas’ growing business requires, is the SKI9000’s scalability. The key injection ports are designed to expand as Trintas’ injection volume continues to grow, with disaster recovery and redundancy features built into the physical hardware.
