People, Process Technology — Part 1
This blog post is part of a three part series discussing the various elements of Futurex’s philosophy which sets us apart as a full service provider of enterprise class data security solutions.
The Solutions Architects
Knowledge is the greatest asset to an organization establishing its core cryptographic infrastructure. Knowledge of essential procedures, standards, and best practices can mean the difference between passing and failing an audit, or even preventing a breach.
Futurex’s Solutions Architects have years of experience and a wealth of knowledge regarding the intricacies of data security best practices and regulatory measures. Solutions Architects have earned their experience through successfully implementing data security solutions—including custom, enterprise-class solutions—as well as acquiring industry certifications. Solutions Architects working with clients in the financial industry must achieve the Certified TR-39 Auditor (CTGA) designation. Further, our Solutions Architects and engineering team have all earned bachelor’s degrees or higher in computer science, engineering, network security, information technology, and other related fields.
Solutions Architects are involved with enterprises at the outset of the discovery process. Using their understanding of specific business objectives and unique infrastructures, they tailor solutions to an organization’s individual ecosystem and business objectives, to the solution deployment and beyond. Further, industry certifications mean Solutions Architects will be able to see an organization through the eyes of an auditor, enabling them to establish a core cryptographic infrastructure in a compliant manner.
Solutions Architects are able to apply their knowledge of standards and Futurex products to design custom solutions. They acquire a deep knowledge of Futurex products because they conduct quality assurance testing with all product lines. This provides them with a broad oversight of business objectives and an expansive technical view of the products, giving them unparalleled insight into how the products function.
Moreover, all Solutions Architects are members of Futurex’s Texas-based Xceptional Support Team, which provides support to organizations where 24x7x365 uptime of systems is critical. The Xceptional Support team has one of the lowest support escalation rates in the industry with virtually all calls resolved by the first technician to answer the phone.
The Xceptional Support Team provides troubleshooting support and other technical services for customers. On-site and virtual training assist organizations by educating employees and shareholders about Futurex product use and capabilities, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the safety of sensitive information. This training ensures that all stakeholders and employees are informed of standards-based policies and procedures and what they mean to an organization.
The Hardware, Software, and Network Engineering Teams
Behind the Solutions Architect team is a strong team of engineers who are the masterminds behind all Futurex products—software engineers, network engineers, electronic design engineers, and others. Whether working with software or hardware, all of our engineers have extensive knowledge of Futurex’s Base Architecture Model and experience developing products to fit customers’ needs.
Our engineering teams not only design, code, test, and troubleshoot the software for all of Futurex’s devices, but they are also responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining various technologies. Whether building hardware prototypes or enhancing our robust API, engineers are at the heart of all Futurex devices. They test Futurex products in wide-ranging scenarios and continually educate themselves on new threats Futurex products must defend against. All of these team members work with each other and with the Solutions Architect team to ensure that all projects, whether off-the-shelf or fully customized, fit the customer’s exact needs. They have broad knowledge of the industry, including best practices and troubleshooting skills.
Like the Solutions Architects, Futurex engineers are a degreed team. They have experience with multiple programming languages, operating systems, types of networks, scripts, databases, and architectures. Their extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices help them develop top-of-the-line technology.
