Futurex and LANDI Global Eliminate a Key Bottleneck in Payment Terminal Rollouts 

New hosted remote key injection platform lets LANDI Global inject keys remotely, dramatically reducing deployment timelines across North America 

San Antonio, Texas - September 3, 2026 - Futurex, a leader in enterprise data security and cryptographic key management, and LANDI Global, a leading provider of secure payment terminals and payment technology solutions, today announced a partnership to bring Futurex's hosted Remote Key Injection (RKI) platform to LANDI's device portfolio across the United States and Canada. 

Before a payment terminal can process transactions, it must be provisioned with the cryptographic keys that protect sensitive payment data. Traditionally, this meant injecting keys at a secure facility before shipping, adding cost and delay to every deployment. With Futurex's hosted RKI platform, LANDI terminals can instead ship directly to merchants and be provisioned remotely upon arrival. 

For payment processors, ISOs, ISVs, distributors, and channel partners, this removes a major point of friction: installations move faster, lifecycle management is simpler, and the burden of pre-injecting keys at a central facility disappears. 

The partnership pairs Futurex's PCI-compliant RKI infrastructure with LANDI's Android SmartPOS, countertop, mobile, and unattended devices, giving customers a single path from shipment to secure activation. The hosted platform will support the full device lifecycle, including deployment, servicing, key rotation, and replacement, in line with PCI DSS, PCI P2PE, and PCI PIN requirements, including encrypted payload rules under PCI PIN 32-9 and key bundling rules under PCI PIN 18-3.
